2012 Xmas Splash!

The 2012 Xmas Splash Diving Competition was a huge success with 26 divers in attendance. For over half of the divers this was their first competition. Well done divers, great performances from all!

Huge thanks to Kate, Osh, Rich & Jake for coaching in the run up to the competition.

TIMETABLE

The Christmas Splash will start promptly at 09:00am. Please can all divers be changed and ready on the pool side at 9:00am.

08:45am:       Arrive at pool.

09:00am:       Divers’ warm up / practice session.

09:30am:       Dive display.

09:45am:       Competition start.

Level 0 (beginner/intermediate)

Level 1 (advanced)

Group F (age 6-7)

Group E (age 8-9)

Group D (age 10-11)

Group C (age 12-13)

Group B (age 14-16)

Coaches / Mums & Dads

12:45pm:       Medals.

1:00pm:         Raffle & Xmas party in cafe.

• Fundraising raffle tickets will be available to purchase.
• Please can you bring a raffle prize to help the club us with our fundraising?
• Please can divers ensure they bring a drink & if cold, have a top to wear pool side.
• Any problems or queries please contact Nick Pipe 01248 602 225.
• Level 0 event is for lesson level Beginner/Intermediate divers that have not competed at any Novice level events.
• Level 0 divers that can meet criteria for level 1 can dive at the next level, level 1.
• Level 1 event is aimed at Advanced Diving class, Foundation Squad level and any diver previously competing in Novice level events or above.

Dates for your diary:

The end of year Christmas Splash Diving Party & Fun Competition will be held at Bangor Pool on Saturday 15th December 2012, from 9am – 1pm.

Entry forms will be available shortly. This year we hope all divers attending the lesson scheme classes will have a go and show off their best dives at this mini competition.

Free party food will be available afterwards in the Cafe upstairs!
